HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MYSELF! =) [[28 NOv]]
this is gonna be a very very long post again.. hehe..
and i got a long list of people to thanx.. here goes!
Firstly: HOLIDAYS and TP Marketing Unlimited Gang!!
i got 2 surprises on my birthday itself!! hehe..
i was just about to sneak off from work to shop for a bag when suddenly Melina (my sales supervisor) call and ask me to go over to her desk.. she desperately try to keep me busy with lots of work while Serene hurry to get the cake.. lolx.. Melina is really not a gd actress lo.. she was stuttering LOL! but i din really pay much attention to it.. cuz i din expect them to rmb my birthday.. so i sat at Serene's desk near the pantry (known as the 'COld Palace'wahaha) to do my cold calling..
then suddenly heard someone singing birthday song behind me.. i was still wondering whose birthday ixit when i turn around to look.. and i saw Serene standing there with a strawberry cake with MElina, Christina (sales supervisor), Clarice, Joni and Anwar (from marketing) all behind me.. OMG! i nearly forgotten its my birthday lolx.. that my first time celebrating in an office =)
then went to meet cc affter work for dinner cuz my mum dun cook on Tuesdays.. she drag me to shop around TM and i din suspect that she was trying to stall time.. i only knew i was really really tired by then.. but i noticed she keep on sms-ing and receiving calls from her in charge.. lolx..
i was still telling her i haven seen Holidays for a long time and that i haven had cake on my birthday for centuries too when we walk from from the garden.. then she suddenly stop and ask me whether i rmb the surprise for me they had told me about.. and i realise 2 familiar figure in front of me.. JOYCE AND SHIRU!
before i know anything blindfold me and make me walk around the garden for dunno how many rounds.. they told me only Holidays is present for the surprise.. but when they took off my blindfold the first thing i saw was the cake..

then i look up and saw everyone (holidays + serene, teck chiat, julius, mary, terence, edwin and uncle philip).. my god that moment i nearly wanna cry.. they were all in their office wear and with a sparkler in their hands.. waaa how come they know that i wanna play sparklers? i feel so bad to make all of them come down after work for me.. what make me most touched was they manage to get elaine to come down as well.. omg~

they got me a gigantic pooh bear, a glass bottle full of wishes and a chilli-look-alike strawberry (by shiru and cc) =p

not to forget the Perlini necklace which i always dun bear to buy =)

they ordered pizza and we sat there chatted around crazily.. suddenly shiru came along and blindfold me again, saying that its dessert time.. uh-uh i dun have a gd feeling about that lo.. celin pinch my nose while terence 'handcuff' me as the rest force me to eat JACKFRUIT.... peng.. win liao lo.. i hate jackfruit the most!!!! yucks!!!!

this is not the worse part.. i was still blindfolded when suddenly i heard a spraying sound and felt all the foams and ribbons on me.. thanx lo!! so i started chasing them with the sprays as well.. and i was still in my heels! lolx.. and these are all thanx to Terence KOh Teck Fong lo.. but its okiee cuz i always wanted a crazy birthday! hehe..
and they make me dance in front of them.. *peng* drag celin and julius to dance 'That thing you do' and the Gao Ling Feng song LOL! damn funny lahz..
i really dunno what to say except to say a big THANK YOU! i thought its gonna be another boring birthday like always but i was so wrong.. normally i would enjoy the last few days of my birthday than my birthday itself cuz my family dun have this tradition of celebrating birthdays.. but u guys give me a wonderful birthday =) i really love u guys lahz!!! i got the happiness i wanted..

secondly, 1st December 2006 officially marks the end of our SIP.. i thought i will be dancing with joy on the dayy.. i always wanted to leave this crap place.. but ytd somehow i felt a gush of emptiness as Serene and i left the office.. i nearly feel like crying at the lobby area..
i guess i will still miss everyone and everything there even though i sometimes cant stand the place.. no more irritating MRT 'Raffles Place Interchange' every morning, no more Shanthi's lively 'GOod Morning!', no more packing and reading of newspapers, no more chatting every morning with HR Angela who say she will miss my company , no more $1.50 bee hoon, no more craps with Rizal, no more lunch with Grace, no more Christina's stress laughter, no more Melina's fave sentence - "jiahui can you come over?", no more Clarice who look like one of us interns, no more Joni showing us cute pictures of her baby, no more LEon to gossip, no more tea break at 4pm.....
and the saddest part, NO MORE AUNTIE DUMBBY SERENE who accompany me through the good and bad times for this 3 months.. =(
