Day 1 - 180408

its already the third time im taking a flight but im still having jitters.. we took SQ876, flight time 835am, at Terminal 3.

Reached Taiwan around 1pm.. so excited! we were happily bouncing around Taiwan's airport.. trip to our hotel takes like 45mins *OMG*

Out hotel is just one street away from Xi Men Ding.. and for these 8 days, the only thing in our survival kit is a map. i am a direction idiot!!! so its nothing but a trash to me.. luckily ru and joyce can read maps.. i rmb on our first night when we wan to leave our hotel and go for dinner at Xi Men Ding, we din even know where the hell is it. oh, its just at the opposite road lolx.. dinner was at the Toilet Theme Restaurant!!! Yummilicious! oh, btw, their cars can drive on pedestrain way.. abit de wrong.

Day 2 - 190408

Breakfast were 2 eggs, 1 ham and 1 bread with milk tea.. and off we go for the day one tour sponsor by our tour agency! they took us to this very famous hotel in Taiwan which looks like a palace! 娘娘饶命!小女子不敢了!

then to the Hot Spring!!! its an indoor one lahz.. abit disappointed.. thought is those open air kind where u enjoy while watching the mountain and water.. but no lehz.. pictures below are before we dipped in the pool.. the process.. *ahem* we keep for our own reference only hehe..

Lunch was at this very uniquely designed restaurant.. super queer looking building.. the furnishing inside is also machiam a cave.. with 3 storeys high.. heard the lady boss start everything from scratch and their deco are all recycled.

and the tour guide even brought us to have our 8-characters analysis. birth date and time all these lahz.. what they say are pretty true for me.. then then then! its Taipei 101!!! but we din go up to the 89th level for the Taipei view.. the tix is exp ok. 101 got nothing much.. all branded stuff.. like Paragon.. anyway their branded are not cheap.

then the cheap part comes in.. WU FEN PU! damn its like Bugis Street No.2! we were told many ppl get lost inside cuz its freaking big.. that night i already bought 4 clothings in less than an hour. ITS HEAVEN! oh but please be reminded that their stuffs are not THAT cheap lahz.. its the price u find in Bugis Street lo or abit cheaper thats all.. dinner was the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua!

Day 3 - 200408

i hate my sixth sense. Breakfast was really 2 eggs, 1 ham, 1 bread with milk tea again. *faints* WE ARE GONNA EAT THOSE CRAP FOR 8 DAYS! *vomit* today just the four of us and Taipei City Hall. oh Taiwanese are such orderly people lahz.. when their escalator indicate please stand at the right side, they obliged. when the mrt indicates they shud stand at the right side of the door and let passengers alight first, they did! Singaporeans ought to be so ashamed of yourselves! booOo! behave like some caveman.. the frequency of their train never exceeds 3 mins. Singapore, learn that.

went shopping around Taipei City Hall in the famous shopping mall 新光三越. we decided to have lunch at Mr Jay. Judging by the name, yes, this Italian Restaurant belongs to none other than our Jay Chou. and kns, this stupid restaurant is actually in Taipei Medical School.. never state there also! from the map its seems like we can walk there.. some kind soul told us it takes around half an hour to walk there from City Hall.. and guess what? we walked for 1 1/2 hours. almost died when we reached there.. we took the wrong route somewhere lahz.. lucky the food is good there.. the Salmon Cream Pasta is like the best i ever had. or ixit bcuz we are too hungry and tired that everything taste just as nice? but their service is *thumbs down*.

then we walk back to Taipei 101 which is at City Hall.. Duhz.. we took only like 20mins. we just look up at the sky, notice the tall landmark and walk towards it. oh anyway, dun try Ice Chocolate with Whip Cream in Taiwan Starbucks. it sucks.

another infuriating incident. some idiots are hogging this beautiful L-O-V-E sign for like bloody half an hour. they took enough photos to paste the whole cow. at that moment thre were another 4 letters in my mind. it starts with F and ends with K. we feel they did it on purpose cuz they know we are waiting. excuse me, Singaporeans are not 省油的灯 ok! they purposely we also purposely take the photos covering their ugly faces lo..

dinner was Mac! then *lightning and thunder* they dun have CHILLI SAUCE in their Mac!!!! huh? zhen de jia de? they only got pepper =.= thats sick. oh and we realise that Taiwanese perception towards Singaporeans are that they cant speak Chinese. they are so surprised we can speak proper chinese. i am even more surprised that they think we cant speak chinese. what is this man??

Day 4 - 210408

Erm do i need to tell u what i have for breakfast? we set off to Xin Zhu early in the morning. the trip takes like 1 hours plus. Our mission? to find Hebe's brother's Restaurant. lolx.. its a long long journey~

we reached just in time for lunch after cabbing from Zhu Bei Train Station. well, the food there is disappointing. ok, make that VERY disappointing. nothing compared to Mr Jay's pasta. had only 2 mouthful of my Prawn Creamy Pasta (and finishing all the prawns). it was drizzling when we left the place.. our train back to Taipei was at 14.55pm. we have like half an hour to spare after lunch. went the garden oppo and took some pictures. its one of the scene in Er Mo Zai Shen Bian!

then tradegy came. there is hardly any sight of cab. we have been standing in the rain (under umbrella) by the roadside and there is totally NO SIGN OF CAB anywhere that can take us back to the train station! we panicked. bcuz we are not in Taipei. we saw a police car and wanted to call for help but they drove us with us chasing behind.. =.= i hate the helpless feeling.. and we missed the train already! we went to the shops there and ask for help and they suggest we walk to the station. i guess thats the only solution also. so we walk lo.. aimlessly. then we see a stroke of light. WE SAW A CAB at the main road!!!!

went back to Taipei and head for Dan Shui Yu Ren Ma Tou! there is a beautiful bridge there.. and sea view! snapped alot of pictures.. Taiwan goes dark at 6pm..

Night activity was to Shih Lin!!!!! yah the famous night market.. unfortunately we din comb the whole Shih Lin lehz.. wasted. and Taiwan have smelly toufu EVERYWHERE lahz! got immune to the smell gradually.. dinner was Lu Rou Fan, Gong Wan Soup and Ou Ah Jian!! their egg omelette is yum yum!!!!! i miss it so much now.. din eat the famous Chao Big Chicken though.. upset. need to hurried back to hotel as it was rather late.

Day 5 - 220408

if u still have no idea what i have for breakfast i suggest u re-read my whole entry again lolx.. And why din anyone tell me that Jiu Fen is at the mountain top? its freezing cold!! like Genting! the scenery is breath-taking up there.. nicey! i forgot how much i spend there cuz i whack things like machiam they dun need money. anyway there is suitable for souvenirs.

lunch was at Coke Restaurant back at Xi Men Ding.. i was so hungry i can eat 2 cows by then. piggy is gonna love this cuz they stored so much coke i think it can last till water dry up in Pacific Ocean.

then then we went to GTV! mission? to grab hold of Mr Pig aka Xiao Zhu Luo Zhi Xiang for a picture! we reached around 6pm.. and we waited for Yu Le Bai Fen Bai Live to end.. we saw guest of BFB Zhang Dong Liang! then Xiao Gui! but no zhu.. so we waited.. and waited.. and waited... and waited.........

We saw Xiao Zhu lahz.. after 2 hours.. but he was too fast for us to capture.. sadded..

Taiwan has Asia's second highest ferris wheel at Miramar Shopping Mall. apparently SIngapore Flyer just beat it and is the first now.. lolx.. the tix is only NT$130! very cheap! but the whole journey i nearly died inside.. once again, i can re-confirm that i am afraid of heights. i grab onto ru's arms for the whole ride.. scary lahz!!! damn gross feeling!! but the view was nice though i spend most of the time calming myself down..

Ramen for dinner!! i like the ramen.. so Q! like Ban mian! my stomach is rumbling as i make this entry.. they have carrerfour in the shopping mall and guess what we saw?

=.= stupid sign.

Day 6 - 230408

We escape from the egg and ham monster!! we went opposite and got soya bean with pork cutlet wrap thingy for breakfast! its damn tasty. and Taipei is crazy today. its only 18 degrees when we left the hotel for Taipei Zoo. can u imagine visiting the zoo with ur jacket and still feeling like u are wearing a tank top in Antartica? The penguins are sooooooooooooooooo cute! so are the sleeping kola bears!

and its still THAT cold when we revisit Wu Fen Pu for somemore shopping!!!!! whack arh.. we just point, take, pay, go, next shop. and the process repeat like nobody business.. hehe.. its fun to spend money without thinking..

Day 7 - 240408

Escape from Egg monster Part 2 - Im Lovin' It! Big Breakfast is cheap in Taiwan. they allow pets in Mac. lolx.. thats cute! Plan for the day is to 中正纪念堂. ITS STILL FREEZING TODAY! while walking to 中正纪念堂 the wind is so strong our nose feels like going to drop off.. cooooooold~ nothing much there though.. we did alot of stupid pose in front of the once great leader in Taiwan.

then we went back for MORE shopping in Xi Men Ding.. =.= really spend to near our last cent. and the masks in their face shop is like half the price of Singapore's. BUY!!!!! dinner was at Tian Wai Tian Steamboat. dun really fancy Taiwan's Steamboat.. simin got a stomach upset after eating and joyce was vomitting the next day though the steamboat is not the prime suspect lahz..

then we went search for Stage. it was suppose to be some ulu corner in Xi Men Ding in Day 1. but at Day 7, it took us last than few minutes to locate it again. we walk so much yuan wang lu on Day 1. lolx..

Day 8 - 250408

HOME SWEET HOME DAY! i miss home! we promise not to complain about Singapore's humid weather cuz we have enough of the chilling wind. so much for that. i have been complaining every single day on the bloody hot weather since i came back.

anyway, we went Taiwan DFS and spend like rich lady on the perfumes. i really spend till my last cent on the perfumes lahz.. in the end we have to struggle with like 3 big carriers of stuff up the plane. one of the air steward saw and said "wow, lots of shopping!" lolx.. nah, i think is TOO MUCH shopping.. hoho..

flight back was smooth.. SQ877, left Taiwan at 230pm and touch ground at around 645pm.. next stop, CHILLI!!! =)

From this moment on

(I do swear that I'll aways be there.
I'd give anything and everything and I will always care.
Through weakness and strength,
happiness and sorrow, for better or worse,
I will love you with every beat of my heart.)

From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where I belong
From this moment on
From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love I'd give my last breath
From this moment on
I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you
From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment on
You're the reason I believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you
From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn't give
From this moment on
I will love you as long as I live
From this moment on
