just when i thought im going to recover from my wisdom tooth, i got hit by another flu again.
this is the third time i have fallen ill in a month. third time. how do u expect me to be in a cherry and understanding mood when most of the time i feel like fainting. maybe i am unreasonable. but sometimes, try to be in my shoes.
every Sept will be a very busy month. especially the end of Sept. cuz pei and joyce birthday falls on the same day.
Pei's Celebration
We brought forward pei's birthday celebration to thurs. Went to Sketchers at Bugis for dinner after work. bcuz we make xian throw face by making her walk around Orchard with a bouquet of flowers on her birthday, she revenge by buying pei a Barney balloon and a PINK flower. pei hates pink fyi.
its really nice to be able to meet up once in awhile (4 times in a year to be exact bcuz we only meet up on birthdays lolx). pei never fail to entertain us with her stories, xian is surprisingly more shu nu now (hoho!) and pinggie as usual the sotong. wahaha. Happy birthday Pei! =)
Joyce Birthday
We started the day with K Lunch at Suntec. Its been so long since we last went to K box but unfortunately i was down with flu and my voice totally CMI. haixx.. what a waste. my voice can only hit the male key for duets. so sad lahz.
we shop around the area after that and waited for the rest to come over for dinner at Kuishinbo. from the photos, i think i looked half dead. lolx.. we got birthday girl a Nikon Pink Camera! Joyce loves pink fyi. hahaha. HAppy 21st Joyce!
so we wrapped the present up without the camera and hid the camera in someone's bag. after many discussion we decided to hide it in Julius's bag. we gave joyce 3 questions to solve and guess who the person is, otherwise will be green tea forfeit.
the 3 questions are:
1. The favourite animal that you like most - Zhu (Ju)
2. The most important person of Singapore - Lee Kwan Yew (li)
3. 我们 - (us)
and i thought it was kinda hard. but she guess everything right! awwww~ joyce is getting smarter now. lolx..
after dinner we went to the bridge that links Marina Square and Suntec Conventional Centre to peep at the F1 Qualifying Round. it was so so squeezy at the bridge that no one could hardly move. and there is this lady in front of me talking loudly to her husband asking him what if there is a fire now at the bridge. CHOY!! feel like smacking her. wuya mouth. if really got fire hope she is the first one to become roasted pig.
anyway after waiting for a short 15mins the race started sharp at 10pm. everyone is so excited. even feverish me oso start to bounce up and down to try to find a good spot to catch a glimpse.
then we hear the engine!!
then it gets louder!!
then it got so loud its like bursting ur ear drums!!
then its gone.

i think it took last than half a second to speed thru? at first i wonder if my eyes were playing tricks on me or did a car really did zoom pass. it was so damn fast! other than ferrari where u can manage to see a red shadow dash pass, i can hardly see the other cars. imagine we cant even catch it with human eye, what makes u think u can capture it on a normal digital camera? so ah ru took picture of the crowd instead LOL! good job.
