satisfaction need not come from attaining greater power or possessing something that all has.
a simple thank you in recognition of the effort u put in is more satisfying than any luxury.
achievement need not be overwhelming or attaining something beyond your means to the extend of losing yourself.
an achievement should be recognised by your ownself and not leave it to the judgement of many others.

ytd was my colleague's birthday! this lucky girl, though her bf is away on a mission for 4 months, he still prepared flowers to be send to the office for her. even her bestie oso all the way down to hand her flowers and presents. after work the whole team of us accompany her to Sun with Moon at Wheelock for birthday dinenr.
how to not envy her? =)
then again, while u are busy with envying people's life, there might be someone out there who is also envying your life.
